AICTE Sponsored STTP on CAD-CAM and Advanced Manufacturing
(March 02– 07, 2020)
The AICTE Sponsored Short Term Training Programme on CAD-CAM and Advanced Manufacturing (March 02– 07, 2020) was organized successfully by the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The STTP was coordinated by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sain, Associate Professor, ME. This course was aimed for faculty members and industry persons linked with the theme of the STTP. 56 participants from different colleges and industries registered for this programme. Overall 16 expert lectures and practical sessions with one field visit was conducted during the six days of STTP. Six external experts: Prof. Meghanshu Vashista from IIT BHU, Prof. Avanish Dubey from MNNIT, Allahabad, Dr. J. P. Misra from NIT Kurukshetra, Prof. Harlal Singh Mali and Dr. Amit Singh from MNIT Jaipur and Mr. Mukesh Kumar as a CAD expert were invited to deliver their expertise..In addition experts from organising department Dr. Dheeraj Joshi, Dr. Manu Augustine, Dr. Achin Srivastava, Mr. Ajay Dhanopia, Prof. Vinay Singh Marwal, Mr. Arun Beniwal and Mr. Praveen Saraswat have also delivered their expertise. Prof. M. P. Poonia, Vice Chairman AICTE was the chief guest and Dr. Meghanshu Vashista, IIT BHU was the guest of honour in the inaugural ceremony.
