Short Term Future Plan
Projection period two years (upto June 2025)
- To obtain autonomous status for the Institute.
- To obtain NBA accreditation for B.Tech. Course in Civil Engineering & MBA course in Management.
- To lay greater emphasis on research and consultancy.
- To encourage faculty to undertake collaborative research with renowned Institutes in the country.
- To sign MOUs with industries and research Institutes for internship/summer training of students.
- To improve academic level of students and encourage them to become entrepreneurs.
- To lay foundation stone for new multistorey academic complex to house new courses.
- To expand the activities in the incubation cell and encourage students and faculty to carry out innovative projects.
- To encourage faculty to fetch research grants from various funding agencies.
- To strengthen alumni cell and put in efforts to connect as many alumni as possible.
Medium Term Plan
Projection period five years (upto July 2028)-
- Having obtained autonomy Introduce new courses as per needs of industries.
- To implement NEP 2020 and lay focus on Interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to carry out-research and innovations.
- To introduce International collaboration for faculty and student exchange programme.
- To make mandatory for faculty to obtain Ph.D. degree from reputed institutes as per UGC guide lines.
- To complete the construction of multistorey academic complex and make it functional for new courses.
- To obtain reaccreditation by NAAC for the Institute and NBA reaccreditation for B.Tech. UG Courses and some of the PG courses
- To create facilities for starting PG programmes in Sciences and Humanities
- To make efforts to figure in the list of top hundred Institutes of NIRF ranking.
- To strengthen and modernize existing laboratories and create new research facilities.
- To focus on industrial research and to increase number of patents.
- To motivate faculty and students to work for the upliftment of villages.
- The inculcate the habit of self learning and life long learning among the students and make efforts to groom them around ethics, values, entrepreneurship and research.
Long Term Future Plan
Projection period fifteen years (upto July 2038)
- To make our Institute an important partner in the development of India.
- Direct research and development efforts to serve India’s needs. Focus on training students and faculty to provide Indian solutions to India’s problems.
- Greater focus on raising consultancy fund.
- To create alumni fund in order to award scholarship to meritorious and needy students.
- To become Deemed to be University.
- To guide and support adopted villages to become self-reliant.
