Course Outcomes:
After completion of this course, students will be able to:
PHUP120.1/PHUP220.1: Apply the concept of optical phenomenon such as interference, diffraction and dispersion in the relevant fields.
PHUP120.2/PHUP220.2: Calculate the semiconducting material parameters such as energy band gap, charge carrier density, and mobility of charge carriers.
PHUP120.3/PHUP220.3: Demonstrate the principle of propagation of light through an optical fibre with the help of Laser.
PHUP120.4/PHUP220.4: Use the concept of reflection through rotating mirror in real world applications such as surveying, navigation and astronomy.
